Free Meals For Cancer - Oishi Japanese Hibachi Restaurant, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Our Free lunch at Oishi Japanese Hibachi Restaurant in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee was one of my favorite dining experiences. I’ve been to hibachi grills before but Oishi is the most opulent. A giant wooden Buddha greeted us. The main reception area had a magnificent and intricate golden frame around the door leading to the bar. Elegant oriental vases lined the shelves. The hostess stood serenely by the front desk. We were seated at a large grill near with a beautiful painting of the Chinese character for wisdom above it. When I went to the bathroom, I discovered an additional room of about thirty booths that were just as impeccably decorated. When our chef came over, he tosses his spatulas in the air and did all sorts of cool tricks including catching one of his knives behind his back. He made a volcano out of purple onion rings and fire came out of the center when he sprayed the grill. Watching food get cooked in front of us was awesome. We all got a generous helping of fried vegetables and white rice. The broccoli was my favorite. My dish was shrimp with chicken. The portions were humongous. I ate everything to the last grain of rice. Martin and Jeremy went with the beef dishes. They were equally stuffed and wowed by the quality and size of their meal. Pigeon Forge may have a million places to eat but Oishi Japanese Hibachi Restaurant is dinner and a show!
